Ihor Mak

Ihor Mak has a diverse work experience in various roles related to machine learning, data analysis, and risk management. Ihor started their career as a Risk Management Intern at Pensionskasse vom Deutschen Roten Kreuz in 2016. Ihor then worked as an Operations Planning & Data Analyst at GROHE from 2016 to 2018. Following that, they joined Lucky Labs as a Data Scientist in 2018. In 2019, they became a Machine Learning Engineer at Bally's Corporation, where they worked on various projects until 2022. Ihor then took on the role of Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Bally's Corporation before eventually being promoted to Machine Learning Team Lead in 2022. In 2020, they co-founded Uanalyse, where they are currently active.

Ihor Mak holds a Master's degree in Economic cybernetics from Kyiv National Economics University. Ihor also has a background in Volkswirtschaftslehre from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business). Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer from The Linux Foundation in 2023, TensorFlow: Data and Deployment Specialization from Coursera in 2020, and various machine learning and data science certifications from Coursera and Udemy in 2018 and 2020.
