Shane Johnston

Shane Johnston, MSML has over 15 years of work experience in the IT field. Shane is currently serving as the Western Region IT Director at Bally's Corporation since June 2023. Prior to this, they held multiple roles at Tropicana Las Vegas, including Director of IT, IT Manager, Assistant Manager Of Technology, and Infrastructure Engineer. Shane worked at Tropicana Las Vegas from September 2017 to August 2023. Before that, Shane worked as an Applications Support Engineer level III at Agilysys from August 2012 to October 2017. Shane began their career as an Associate Systems Analyst at Indiana Grand Casino / Indiana Live Casino in October 2008 and worked there until August 2012.

Shane Johnston, MSML obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University in 2023. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the same institution in 2022. Additionally, they hold various certifications including CompTIA Project+, Linux Essentials, Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, ITIL Foundation Level, CompTIA Server+, and CompTIA A+ over the years.
