Nelson Santana

Nelson Santana is a seasoned professional soccer player and coach with extensive experience in the sport. Currently playing for the Baltimore Blast since November 2021, Santana has a notable history that includes stints with teams such as the San Diego Sockers, Harrisburg Heat, and Ontario Fury, among others. Throughout a career that began in 2006, Santana has achieved significant accolades, including two MASL Championships with the Baltimore Blast and a PASL Championship with the Stockton Cougars. In addition to professional playing, Santana has been involved in coaching since 2009 with the Livermore Fusion Soccer Club, contributing to the development of young players. Santana’s involvement with the U.S. Soccer Federation as a member of the U.S. Mens Futsal National Team further underscores a commitment to the sport. The academic foundation was laid at Prospect High School, where Santana graduated in 1997.
