Nadine Finigan-Carr

Nadine Finigan-Carr is a Research Professor at the University of Maryland School of Social Work, where Nadine has held various leadership roles, including Director of the Prevention of Adolescent Risks Initiative. Finigan-Carr's work involves managing multi-disciplinary teams on state and federally funded research initiatives, focusing on the prevention of adolescent risk behaviors, particularly among vulnerable populations. In addition, Finigan-Carr serves as the inaugural Executive Director of a university-wide Center for Violence Prevention and as Commissioner on the Community Relations Commission for Baltimore City. Previous positions include Senior Research Associate at Fostering Change Network, adjunct professor at Grand Canyon University, and Senior Research Project Manager at Johns Hopkins University.
