Matthew Polito

Matthew Polito is a Pollution Control Analyst II at the Baltimore City Department of Public Works since May 2022, focusing on collecting water samples from various drinking water locations in Baltimore. Previously, Matthew worked as a Medical Technician at GENETWORx from September 2022 to July 2023 and served as a Research Assistant at William & Mary from January 2021 to July 2023, where responsibilities included assisting in the development of ecosystem models related to nutrient uptake in the Chesapeake Bay. Early career experience includes roles as a Team Member at Chick-fil-A-Franchise from June 2019 to January 2021, where Matthew contributed to food manufacturing and quality control, and as a Courtesy Clerk at Kroger from May 2017 to September 2019, assisting customers with their shopping needs. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from William & Mary, obtained in 2022, and graduated from Highland Springs High School in 2018 with a High School Diploma.
