Brooke Harlow is the Chief Global Affairs Officer at Balyasny Asset Management. She is responsible for leading the firm’s global public policy, legislative, and regulatory affairs, vendor partnerships, philanthropy, diversity & inclusion, and sustainability initiatives. Brooke sits on the firm’s Management Committee and is based in our New York office. Brooke joined BAM from Managed Funds Association, where she worked as Chief Commercial Officer and led their global business development initiatives which included corporate strategy, revenue growth, membership, and investor relations. Brooke joined MFA from Highbridge Capital Management, and prior to that she was a Vice President in JPMorgan’s investment bank. Brooke has been recognized as one of the 50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds and serves on the Global Advisory Board of Girls Who Invest. She is a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations, Co-President of the Board of Governors and Trustee of The Hotchkiss School, and an Executive Committee member of the Women’s Board of the Boys Club of New York. Brooke graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in American Studies and was selected as a Rotary Scholar to study at El Colegio de Mexico in Mexico City as part of their Masters in International Relations program.
