Uwe Zscherpel is a skilled professional with extensive experience in the field of digital radiology and image analysis. Currently serving as a Regierungsdirektor at the Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung since February 1992, Uwe Zscherpel leads a research group focused on innovative developments in non-destructive testing methods, particularly in industrial applications utilizing X-ray, gamma, and neutron radiation.
