Nicholas Smith

Nicholas Smith is a Senior Software Engineer at Bamboo Health since November 2021, with previous experience as a Software Engineer at GE Digital from June 2017 to November 2021. Nicholas has a strong background in developing scalable, fault-tolerant microservices within an event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka, as well as expertise in web application design utilizing React, Redux, and Typescript. During the Digital Technology Leadership Program, Nicholas contributed significantly to various projects including the creation of the Predix Industrial Gateway Server Protocol Adapter and a canary monitoring system in Go. With a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Florida, Nicholas also has experience in research, tutoring, and is a former intern at Verizon, showcasing diverse skills in software development and team collaboration.
