Luke Janssen

Luke Janssen has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Luke is currently a General Partner at Mangosteen Venture Studio, a company focused on founding and growing purpose-driven regenerative businesses. Luke is also the Co-Founder and Chairman of Dungbeetle, a role they took on in 2022. In 2021, they co-founded BetaCarbon and served as a Co-Founder. Luke is also a Co-Founder of Bambu - Robo For Everyone, a position they have held since 2017. Additionally, they serve as a Non-Executive Director at CONQA since October 2021.

In terms of their previous experiences, Luke was a Co-Founder of Hatch Bali in 2018. From 2020 until its closure in June 2023, they were the Founder and Chairman of Lucy | #unstoppablewomen, a digital bank that supported female entrepreneurs. Luke also contributed to Via as part of their Strategy team focused on the APAC region from 2017 to 2018. Prior to their entrepreneurial pursuits, Luke was the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Concentrix Tigerspike, where they played a pivotal role in growing the company's revenues from nothing to over $50m with 300 employees across multiple offices. Luke also worked at KPMG Australia as a Manager in the Information Risk Management division, where their side hustle, Tigerspike, eventually caused their departure.

Luke Janssen's education history begins in 1980 at the Muscat English Speaking School in Oman, where they completed their primary education. From 1986 to 1990, they attended King George 5th School in Hong Kong, where they pursued their GCSEs. In 1990, Luke Janssen enrolled in UWC South East Asia and received their International Baccalaureate, focusing on subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, Business Studies, Malay, English, and Chemistry. Moving forward, they joined King's College London in 1994 and earned a BSc degree in Computer Science with Management, which they completed in 1997. Lastly, Luke Janssen attended ICAEW from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained their Chartered Accountant degree specializing in Accounting.
