Christian Cordius has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2011, they worked as a Marketing Manager at Grillen + Bar, where they were responsible for the restaurant's marketing plan. Christian also took on additional roles such as waiter, chef, buyer, bartender, and GM to help build the brand and business.
In 2012, Cordius became the Founder of the nightclub "Hip Hop ain't dead" at Nasa Nightclub, Copenhagen's first pure R'n'B concept. Christian then went on to work as a Co-Founder of the hip hop platform Flavour at Rust ApS from 2013 to 2014. Flavour became an established concept and is still running to this day.
From 2012 to 2015, Cordius served as the Marketing, Brand, and Communication Manager at DIRTY nightclub under REKOM Group A/S. Christian played a crucial role in making DIRTY one of the longest-running Thursday concepts in Danish nightlife history.
In 2014, Cordius held marketing positions at Les Deux for a brief period. Following that, from 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Managing Partner Yatai by Jens Rahbek at Copenhagen Street Food - Papirøen. Christian was also a board member of the board of Copenhagen Street Food during this time.
Cordius embarked on a new entrepreneurial venture in 2017 as the Founder and CEO of Banana Cph. The company focuses on producing vegan and sustainable products made from bananas that would otherwise be wasted. Cordius aims to fight food waste and promote a plant-based diet through high-quality products.
In 2018, Cordius joined the InnoFounder incubator as an InnoFounder member. InnoFounder, owned by Innovation Fund Denmark (IFD) and operated by the Danish Design Centre (DDC) and Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design (CIID), provided funding for Banana Cph for 12 months.
In 2019, Cordius took on the role of Ambassadør at QWSTION, where they served as a Danish ambassador for the brand. In this position, they gained insights into the banana peel industry and contributed to production communications and optimization. Christian continued in this role until February 2021.
Before pursuing their entrepreneurial and marketing endeavors, Cordius had a successful career as a professional football player. Christian played at the highest national level as a youth player, winning the Danish cup in 2009 and later playing in the 1st and 2nd divisions as a professional player from 2006 to 2015.
Christian Cordius attended Gammel Hellerup Gymnasium from 2006 to 2009, where they completed a degree in HTX with a focus on language and social science, including English, Spanish, and social science. From 2012 to 2014, Christian Cordius studied at KEA - Københavns Erhvervsakademi, earning a degree in E-Designer. Christian'sstudies covered various areas such as marketing, communication, design, entrepreneurship, culture, trends, and project management. In 2016, Christian enrolled at KEA - Københavns Erhvervsakademi again, this time pursuing a Professional Bachelor's degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, which they completed in 2018. Additionally, in 2017, they attended Hawaii Pacific University for a short period to study Rhetorical Theory, Persuasion, and Mass Media, earning a Bachelor's degree.
