Luiz Martins

Luiz Martins is an experienced tax professional with a career spanning over two decades, currently serving as the Head of Tax at Banco BV since July 2008. In this role, Luiz leads a team of approximately 15 to 20 collaborators, focusing on optimizing tax burdens and managing corporate taxes including IR, CS, PIS, COFINS, and ISS across the group’s companies. Luiz is responsible for preparing financial reports, overseeing audits, and managing compliance with federal and municipal tax obligations. Additionally, Luiz holds a position on the Tax Committee at FEBRABAN and has served as a fiscal advisor for Projeto Viver. Previous roles include Tax Supervisor at Banco Natixis and Tax Coordinator at Cetelem, complemented by extensive education in tax law, financial management, and strategic people management from prestigious institutions.
