Erik Berg

Erik Berg has extensive work experience in the finance industry, particularly in the area of debt capital markets in Latin America. Erik currently holds the position of Managing Director Head Debt Capital Markets Latin America & Caribbean at BancTrust & Co., a role they started in September 2021. Prior to this, Erik served as the Vice President of Global Sales at Cybia from July 2018. Erik also held the position of Managing Director, DCM LatAm at Torino Capital LLC from November 2017 to September 2021. Before that, Erik worked as the Head DCM LatAm at Natixis from May 2016 to November 2017, Head DCM LatAm at Commerzbank AG from March 2013 to March 2016, Head DCM LatAm at Standard Bank Group from 2010 to 2013, Head DCM LatAm at ING from 2004 to 2010, VP DCM LatAm at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. from 2002 to 2004, and AVP DCM LatAm at Deutsche Bank from 1998 to 2001.

Erik Berg holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. Erik also has obtained an MBA from IAE Business School. Additionally, they have certifications in Series 7, 63, and 24, from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
