Dr. Arijit Ghosh

Dr. Arijit Ghosh has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in different companies. Dr. Arijit is currently the Head of Analytics at Bandhan Bank since 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Analytics at Aditya Birla Finance Limited from 2020 to 2022. From 2016 to 2020, they held the position of Vice President and Head of Audit Analytics at Axis Bank. Before that, Dr. Ghosh worked as a Senior Consultant at FICO™ from 2015 to 2016. Dr. Arijit also served as the Director of Model Validation at American Express from 2014 to 2015. Furthermore, they held multiple roles at HSBC, including Head of Modeling Asst. Vice President, Head of Portfolio Management, Financial and Operation Analytics for the Middle East, and Manager of Credit Policy, Risk Pricing, and Forecasting for North America. Dr. Arijit began their career as an Assistant Manager in Marketing Analytics at Citibank in 2004. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at IGIDR from 2000 to 2004, where they conducted research and taught courses in Micro Economics and Econometrics.

Dr. Arijit Ghosh holds a PhD in Finance from the Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research, obtained from 2000 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed an MSQE degree in Economics, Statistics, Econometrics, and Time Series from the Indian Statistical Institute from 1998 to 2000. Dr. Arijit'sundergraduate studies were conducted at the University of Calcutta, where they received a B.Sc. in Economics, Mathematics, and Political Science from 1995 to 1998.
