Uttam Rau

Uttam Rau has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Uttam started their career in 1994 as a Costing Assistant at Hindustan Pencils Ltd. Uttam then moved on to The National Leathercloth Mfg. Co. where they worked as a Sr. Costing Officer from 1995 to 2001. Subsequently, they joined Jyothy Laboratories Ltd as a Sr. Officer Accounts & Costing from 2001 to 2004. Uttam then transitioned into the banking sector and worked as an Assistant Manager at HDFC Bank from 2004 to 2006. Uttam then joined Centurion Bank of Punjab as a Manager MIS for a brief period in 2006 before joining Indiabulls Financial services Ltd. as a Manager – Business Analytics and Implementation from 2007 to 2008. Currently, they are working at Aegon Life Insurance Company Limited, where they hold the position of Deputy Vice President - Finance since 2008, and has recently been promoted to the role of Vice President Finance in June 2021.

Uttam Rau has a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting and Finance from Nagindas Khandwala College of Commerce & Arts - Mumbai University, which they obtained from 1988 to 1993. Prior to that, from 1975 to 1988, they completed their S.S.C. (Secondary School Certificate) with a field of study in Science & Mathematics at Students Academy.
