Dirk Hermans

With over 25 years of software engineering leadership, Dirk leads Bandwidth’s development team to deliver exceptional technology experiences to customers. As Chief Software Development Officer, he oversees the teams building new features and functionality to make Bandwidth the CPaaS platform of choice for powering global enterprise communications, as well as ensuring global platform uptime and scalability.

Prior to its acquisition by Bandwidth, Dirk was Chief Development Officer and VP of Research & Development at Voxbone, where he transformed the company’s software development function and led the team that built the company’s popular outbound telephony product. Dirk’s early experience includes software consulting and engineering leadership roles across a number of industry verticals, including banking and telecom.

A Belgium native, Dirk has a Masters Degree in Electronics Engineering from KU Leuven.
