Clare Deane

Clare Deane is a seasoned research and impact professional currently serving as the Research & Impact Manager at Bangor University since January 2023. Previously, Clare held multiple roles at Cardiff University, including Innovation and Business Engagement Manager, where partnerships and funding opportunities for strategic research themes were developed. Additional positions included Impact Manager and Impact Officer, overseeing project management for the Research Excellence Framework 2021 submission, and European and International Research Officer, where Clare managed research and innovation funding applications. Earlier experience includes a senior researcher role at a charity and engagement and research at Falmouth and Exeter Student’s Union. Clare holds a BA in History with a focus on Modern History from the University of Exeter (Cornwall Campus), completed in 2014.
