Michael Wilson

Michael Wilson has a diverse work experience in the field of strategic planning and university administration. Michael started their career at Bangor University in 2001 as a Student Records Officer and later served as a Senior Planning Officer. In 2012, they joined Glyndwr University as a Senior Planning Officer, where their responsibilities included developing business intelligence capabilities, strategic planning, data analysis, and student number forecasting. In 2014, they returned to Bangor University as the Chief Strategy & Planning Officer, where they were responsible for developing and monitoring the university's strategic plan, resource allocation processes, and key performance indicators. Michael also served as a member of the university's Executive Board.

Michael Wilson attended Poynton High School from 1987 to 1994. Afterward, they pursued a BA (hons) degree in Economics from Bangor University, completing their studies from 1996 to 1999. In 2019, Michael obtained a certification for "Analytics Labs for HE" from Jisc.
