Juan Gonzalo Sierra Ortiz

Juan Gonzalo Sierra Ortiz has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting. Juan Gonzalo started their career as a Finance and Accounting Analyst at Bancolombia in 1998. Juan Gonzalo then progressed to become a Financial Reporting Team Leader and later an Accounting and Financial Reporting Manager. In 2003, they joined Universidad EAFIT as a teacher in IFRS, USGAAP, Finance, and Accounting. In 2008, they transitioned to Banco Agricola as the Chief Financial Officer, where they served until 2013. Currently, Juan holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at Banistmo.

Juan Gonzalo Sierra Ortiz has a diverse education history with a focus on business administration and management. In 1994, they attended Universidad EAFIT, where they pursued a degree in Contador Público, specializing in Contabilidad y gestión empresarial. Juan Gonzalo completed this program in 1999. In 2005, Juan attended Universidad de La Sabana for a PDA - Programa en Dirección Avanzada, studying Dirección Empresarial. This program lasted for a year, concluding in 2006. Later, from 2009 to 2011, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Tecnológico de Monterrey, focusing on Administración y gestión de empresas. Most recently, Juan attended the IE Business School Executive Education in 2019, completing the Senior Management Program with a concentration in Business Administration and Management.
