Salem Alajmi

Salem ALAjmi has extensive experience in the banking industry, holding various leadership roles throughout their career. Salem began their career at Samba Financial Group in 1998, where they served as the Acting Branch Manager for eight years. In 2006, they joined Bank Albilad as the Head of Retail Audit, a position they held for five years. Salem then moved to ALRajhi Bank in 2011, initially serving as the Branches & Tahweel Centers Audit Manager before being promoted to Head of SAMA Assignments & Special Audit. In 2017, they returned to Bank Albilad as the Head of Retail Audit. Throughout their career, Salem has consistently demonstrated their expertise in audit processes and risk management, contributing to the improvement of control environments and adding value to the respective banks.

Salem ALAjmi obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from King Saud University between 1995 and 1998. Salem also has additional certifications as a Certified Compliance Officer (CCO) from the Institute of Banking (IOB) in 2014 and as a Certified Risk Based Auditor from LEORON in 2016.
