Ashley Balch

Ashley Balch is an experienced professional in public relations and business operations with a background in journalism. Presently serving as the Public Relations Manager and Brand Journalist at Bank Independent since May 2022, Ashley previously held the role of Vice President of Mortgage Lending at Mutual of Omaha Mortgage from September 2020 to May 2022. From August 2003 to July 2020, Ashley was the President and Vice President of Business Operations for Huntsville Havoc, and served as the Director of Communications for the Tennessee Valley Vipers from July 1999 to August 2003. Earlier in the career, Ashley worked as the Sports Information Director at Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University and started as a Student Assistant at the University of North Alabama, where a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism was obtained.
