Amna al-Balushi

Amna AL-Balushi is an accomplished information security professional with extensive experience in the banking and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at Bank Nizwa since August 2015, AL-Balushi previously held the position of CISO and Head of Business Continuity at Oman Arab Bank from January 2013 to July 2015. Earlier roles include Head of Information Security at Infoshield LLC (July 2010 - December 2012) and Information Security Officer at the Ministry of Education of Oman (March 2006 - June 2010). Initially starting as an Oracle PL/SQL Programmer at Omannational Electrical Company (January 2005 - March 2006), AL-Balushi holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Caledonian College of Engineering (1999 - 2003) and is currently pursuing a Global MBA at The University of Manchester (January 2023 - Present).
