Cath Sleeman

Cath Sleeman is a seasoned professional in the field of economics and data science, currently serving as a Senior Business Partner at the Bank of England since August 2024. Prior to this role, Cath held multiple positions at Nesta from August 2014 to August 2024, including Head of Data Science, Head of Data Discovery, Head of Data Visualisation, and Quantitative Research Fellow. Earlier experiences include working as an Economist at Morgan Stanley from August 2009 to September 2011 and as a Senior Economic Analyst at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand from November 2004 to August 2008. Cath's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics and a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge, as well as a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Economics from the University of Canterbury.
