Matt Beers

Matt Beers has held several senior-level positions throughout their career. Matt started their professional journey at Key Bank as the SVP Regional Manager from 2005 to 2007. Matt then joined Wells Fargo, where they held various roles, including SVP Retail Credit Program Management from 2007 to 2009, SVP Program Management and Loan Administration from 2009 to 2010, and finally SVP Loan Administration from 2009 to 2013. After leaving Wells Fargo, Matt joined Bank of the Cascades as SVP Loan Operations from 2013 to 2017. Matt then moved to CoBank as Loan Administration/Loan Servicing lead, responsible for a large team from 2017 to 2019. Currently, Matt Beers is working at Bank of Hope, where they started in 2019. Matt has held multiple roles at Bank of Hope, including SVP Head of Commercial and Corporate Loan Operations from 2019 to 2022, Managing Director from 2022 to 2023, and currently serving as EVP and Chief Strategy Officer from 2023 onwards.

Matt Beers received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Business, Speech, and Russian from San Diego State University between 1986 and 1990. Matt then pursued further education at Northwest Nazarene University from 1998 to 2000, earning an MBA with a focus on Business, IT, and Business Law. Additionally, Matt Beers obtained certifications in project management, including PgMP from PMI in 2015, and PMP from PMI in 2014.
