Ian Hanney

Ian Hanney is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in governance, operations, and solution architecture. Currently serving as the Head of IT Engineering Governance, Operations, and Solution Architecture at Bank of Ireland since September 2020, Ian has held various leadership positions in esteemed organizations such as Glanbia, Fidelity Investments, and Canada Life, where roles included Head of Enterprise Architecture and Director of Architecture. With a solid foundation in technical consulting and programming, Ian also boasts a strong academic background, holding a Master of Science in Management of Information Systems Strategy from Dublin City University, along with two degrees in Mathematics from St Patrick's Pontifical University, Maynooth.
