Manjeera Hammond has extensive work experience in the banking and financial industry. Manjeera started their career at Statistics New Zealand as a Statistical Analyst, where they contributed to the development of processes and methodologies for the Consumers Price Index. Manjeera then moved to Westpac New Zealand Limited as a Reporting Analyst, delivering key reporting and analytics to support customer experience.

Manjeera then joined Bank of New Zealand, where they held various roles. Manjeera initially worked as a Retail Banking Analyst, providing business support and managing reporting for Retail performance systems. Manjeera then transitioned to a Change Delivery Manager position, engaging with stakeholders and implementing change initiatives in the Retail Banking department.

Later, Manjeera became a Product Manager for Home loans, where they contributed to the development and execution of strategies to manage and grow the home loan product performance. Manjeera then took on the role of Customer Strategy Manager, and later became the Head of Acquisition, CX & Retention - Wealth. In this role, they designed and executed customer acquisition and retention strategies, leveraging data insights to optimize the delivery of wealth products and propositions. Currently, Manjeera serves as the Head of Customer Optimisation & Performance at Bank of New Zealand, leading collaboration between data analytics and customer experience functions to identify and deliver meaningful leads across the product portfolio.

Manjeera Hammond attended The University of Auckland from 2004 to 2007, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics.
