Ping Liu

Ping Liu currently serves as Chief Credit Officer and General Manager of Credit Risk at the Bank of New Zealand since May 2023. In addition to these roles, Ping Liu has been a Board Member of RITANZ since June 2015, contributing to the professional body focused on business restructuring and insolvency in New Zealand. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Risk Officer at UDC Finance Limited, the largest non-bank lender in New Zealand, from June 2019 to May 2023. Earlier positions at ANZ included Head of Lending Services Credit, Senior Manager of Wholesale Credit Risk, and Associate Director of Complex Lending Services. Ping Liu has also held key roles at Lloyds International, BOS International, and HSBC. Education was completed at Massey University.
