Sonu Kumar

Sonu Kumar has worked for six different companies since 2014. Sonu began their career as a Summer Intern at Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund (BSLMF) in 2014. In 2015, they became a Senior Relationship Manager at ICICI Securities Ltd., where they handled multiple products roles in retail sales through ICICI direct. Sonu also met with clients for any service related issue and offered new investment options to them. In 2016, Sonu Kumar became an Assistant Manager at Nippon India Mutual Fund. In 2020, they became a Senior Executive at JM Financial Ltd. In 2021, they joined Union Asset Management Company Pvt Ltd as a Deputy Manager and also became Head of Business Development at BankSathi, where they were responsible for onboarding Banks and NBFCs on BankSathi Platform for distribution of their services. Sonu also handled existing relationships and developed campaigns and other innovative drives, coordinated across functions for smooth process, tracked metrics to ensure assigned targets are hit and increased the market and revenue share.

Sonu Kumar completed their 12th from Army Public School Lucknow in 2010. Sonu then went on to pursue their Bachelor Of Commerce from University of Lucknow, graduating in 2013. After that, they completed their PGPBM in Finance from International School Of Business & Media in 2015. In 2021, Sonu obtained AMFI certification from Association Of Mutual Funds In India. Sonu also obtained IRDA certification from Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority in 2015.
