Elena Kohutikova has extensive experience in the banking and financial sectors, currently serving as a Member of the Supervisory Board at Banka Intesa Sanpaolo d. d. and VÚB Generali DSS, and as Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board at VÚB banka since March 2018. Previously, Elena held notable positions such as Chairwoman of the Prime Minister’s Council of Advisors in Slovakia and Deputy CEO at VÚB banka. With a significant tenure at Národná banka Slovenska, including roles as Director and Deputy Governor, Elena's career spans from academic contributions as a researcher to leadership in various financial institutions. Elena holds a PhD in Finance from Ekonomicky Ustav SAV and an Ing. in Finance from Ekonomická univerzita v Bratislave.
