Charbonneau Scott has extensive experience in the insurance industry, with a career spanning over two decades. They held the role of Vice President and Chief Actuary at Interstate Insurance Group from 1993 to 2001, Vice President and Chief Reserving Actuary at Kemper Insurance Company from 2001 to 2005, and Managing Vice President and Chief Actuary at SUA Insurance Company from 2005 to 2010. During their time at Markel from 2010 to 2016, they served as the Managing Director, overseeing actuarial staff and managing various divisions. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Financial Officer and Chief Actuary at Bankers Insurance Group, which they started in 2016.
Charbonneau Scott completed a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Northern Illinois University between 1982 and 1983. Prior to that, Charbonneau Scott pursued a Bachelors of Science in Actuarial Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, although the specific timeframe for this degree remains unclear.
