Syed Mohiuddin

Syed Mohiuddin has a diverse and extensive work experience across various companies and roles. Syed started their career as a Computer Engineer at SagarSoft India Ltd in 1996, where they managed systems and networks and assisted senior engineers with resolving network issues. Syed then worked as an IT Consultant at United Technical Services in 1998, providing expert advice and guidance.

Moving forward, they joined Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank in 1999, working as a Systems Engineer. In this role, they managed the Active Directory and Exchange environment and provided first-line support to the Service Desk and Core Banking team.

In 2000, Syed Mohiuddin joined NBAD (later known as First Abu Dhabi Bank) as a Systems Administrator. Syed was responsible for maintaining the health of Active Directory, Exchange, and Citrix systems. Syed played a key role in implementing projects such as RSA, Citrix, Blackberry, and ArcSight.

Within NBAD, they held the role of Vice President and later became a Senior Vice President, Head of Services Productivity, Collaboration & End User Services at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) in 2017. In this position, they led and managed teams, focusing on services productivity, collaboration, and end-user services.

Syed also had a notable tenure at National Bank of Abu Dhabi, where they held multiple roles from 2001 to 2021. As a Manager - Systems Administration, they led teams responsible for Active Directory, Messaging, Unix administration, and Desktop Support. Syed ensured the smooth operation of infrastructure and maintained the security posture. Later, as a Group Leader, System Administration, they continued leading teams and played a crucial role in infrastructure maintenance and security.

Overall, Syed Mohiuddin has amassed extensive experience in systems administration, infrastructure management, and project implementation within the banking sector. Syed'sexpertise and leadership skills have contributed to the success of various organizations throughout their career.

Syed Mohiuddin completed their education in a variety of fields. In 1989, they studied Theoretical and Mathematical Physics at St. Andrews High School for their secondary education. Syed then pursued Intermediate studies in Maths and Physics at St. Anthonys Jr. College in 1990-1991. From 1991 to 1994, they attended Osmania University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In 2021, Syed attended INSEAD for a course called "Strategy in the Age of Digital Disruption." Additionally, they obtained various certifications such as "Microsoft Certified Azure Security Engineer - Associate" from Microsoft, "Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)" from ISACA, and AWS certifications like "AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional" and "AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate."
