Juan Bustabad

Juan Bustabad began their work experience as a Special Assets Assistant at BankUnited in August 2011. Juan then worked their way up through various roles, including Special Assets Portfolio Manager, AVP Special Assets Manager, AVP ABL Analyst III, and AVP Corporate Portfolio Manager. In their roles, Juan managed portfolios of criticized/classified commercial loans, analyzed borrowing trends, developed monitoring processes, and co-managed workout loans. Juan currently holds the position of Vice President, Special Assets Manager at BankUnited, which they started in September 2020.

Juan Bustabad earned a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Florida International University, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. In 2018, they pursued a Professional Certificate in Real Estate Finance and Investment from Fordham University. In addition, they hold an ABA Certificate in Business and Commercial Lending from the American Bankers Association. The month and year of obtaining the certification are not provided.
