Katherine Kurmes

Katherine Kurmes is a Senior Accountant at Banner Health since July 2016, specializing in accounting for the Banner Health Foundation, Banner Alzheimer’s Institute, and Banner Research. Key responsibilities include fund accounting, reconciling general ledgers to Raiser’s Edge, and supporting annual audits and budgeting processes. Prior to this role, Katherine managed the accounting for seven business units within Banner and gained experience as a Student Assistant Accountant at EMSA Financial Services. Additional work includes tutoring at NAU Student Learning Center and serving as IStand Chair at Planned Parenthood Arizona, along with an office assistant role at Highland House Calls. Katherine holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Northern Arizona University, obtained in 2016.
