Leon Cao

Leon Cao is an Associate Attorney at Banner Witcoff since May 2022, following a role as an IP Intern at IBM where responsibilities included clearing open source software and ensuring no intellectual property conflicts. Prior experience includes serving as a Summer Law Clerk at McAndrews, Held & Malloy, Ltd., and a CCDS Technician at Battelle, where there was a focus on decontaminating N95 masks. Leon's academic journey at The Ohio State University culminated in a JD from the Moritz College of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, complemented by a Business minor. During undergraduate years, Leon excelled as a student-athlete, achieving numerous accolades including participation in the 2019 NCAA National Championship and recognized as an Academic All-Big Ten and Big Ten Distinguished Scholar. Additional internships include a Database Administrator Intern at American Electric Power and a SMART Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Arconic.
