Hanna von Essen's work experience begins in 2012 when they worked as a Digital Specialist at Wisely. In 2013, they joined Bizkit Havas as a Digital Advisor & Project Manager, specializing in developing digital and social media strategies for clients such as Kia Motors, TV4, and ActionAid. In 2015, they became a Social Media Marketing Consultant at TV4-Gruppen before transitioning to iZettle, where they held roles as the Head of Social Media & Content and later as the Social Media & Online Marketing Manager. At iZettle, they gained experience in creating and managing online marketing and communication activities across various markets in Europe and LatAm using tools such as Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn, and Google Analytics. In 2018, Hanna joined Åkestam Holst as a Strategist, where they worked until 2022. Currently, they are a Product Manager at Bannerflow, starting in August 2022.
Hanna von Essen has a strong educational background with a focus on media, communication, marketing, and business administration. Hanna attended Lund University from 2009 to 2012, where they completed the Bachelor Programme in Business Administration and Economics with a specialization in Marketing. During the same period, they also pursued a BSc in Media and Communication at Lund University.
In addition to their formal education, Hanna has obtained several certifications. In November 2014, they earned the Google Fundamentals certification from Google. Later, in July 2016, they obtained the Analytics Certification. Finally, in December 2016, they achieved the AdWords Video Certification, all from Google. These certifications indicate their proficiency in various aspects of digital marketing and advertising.
