William Engel

William Engel has held various roles in finance, starting with internships at Jefferies & Company and BTU Power in 2008 and 2009. William worked as a research analyst at BTU Power/QGEN Energy from 2010 to 2012. From 2012 to 2016, Engel worked at Panera Bread in roles including Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis and Senior Analyst of Financial Planning & Analysis. From 2018 to 2021, they were a Senior Associate in Investment Banking at William Blair, where they completed over 17 M&A, equity, and debt financing transactions in healthcare. Engel then worked as Director of Strategic Finance at Allbirds from 2021 to 2023. Currently, they are the Head of Finance at Banyan Infrastructure.

William Engel obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Economics from Lafayette College from 2006 to 2010. William then completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Harvard Business School between 2016 and 2018.
