Michelle Cruz

Michelle Cruz is a seasoned research scientist currently serving as Research Scientist II at Banyu Carbon since February 2023. Prior experience includes roles as R&D Engineer and Associate R&D Chemist at Sironix Renewables from December 2020 to February 2023, and Robotics Curriculum Specialist at Probot Artistry for a brief period in late 2020. Additionally, Michelle worked as an English Second Language Instructor at Ringle and as a Chemistry Student Teacher at Paul Cuffee Upper School from February to June 2020. Early career experiences at Brown University encompass positions as Laboratory Operations Assistant, Event Programmer, and Research Assistant from May 2016 to May 2018, along with a role as Research Scientist during the summer of 2015. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Materials Chemistry with Engineering and a Master of Arts in Teaching, Science, both from Brown University, complemented by a high school diploma from G. Holmes Braddock High School.
