Sabine Higuera

Sabine Higuera has over 18 years of professional experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, and marketing. From 2017 to present, they have held the roles of Director of Operations, Sr. Manager Supply Chain & Procurement, and Operations & Supply Chain at Banza. In this role, they have led the order management process, overseen fulfillment operations of third-party logistics providers, analyzed inventories, managed product allocation, managed relationships with co-packers and third-party warehouses, and analyzed and optimized lead time, MOQ, transportation costs, and inbound/outbound material flow. From 2014 to 2017, they were a Freelancer. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Project Manager at the German Colombian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, where they managed projects in the logistics, mining, and construction sectors, conducted market studies, and provided support in executing clients' market entry strategies. From 2007 to 2013, they were Manager - Marketing & Sales Molybdenum EMEA & Asia, Commercial Executive, and Logistics Coordinator - Export & Sales at Rio Tinto. In these roles, they led a team, formulated and implemented marketing strategies, developed new business accounts in Asia, monitored market and price movements, evaluated short and medium term trends, and managed end-to-end order to cash administrative and logistical fulfillment of sales contracts. From 2002 to 2007, they were an Export Coordinator at Lufthansa Cargo, where they were responsible for freight acceptance and approval of all export documents, interacted with 3PL's for reservations of shipments and handling of queries, and consulted private customers in respect to their cargo shipments and customs clearance.

Sabine Higuera has an extensive education history. From 1999 to 2002, they completed an apprenticeship at Lufthansa Cargo in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management. From 2002 to 2007, they attended Hochschule Mainz - University of Applied Sciences, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in International Business. From 2004 to 2005, they attended Coastal Carolina University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing. Finally, from 2014 to 2017, they attended EuroMBA Consortium and earned a Master of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management.
