Brett Oliver, MD, serves as the Chief Medical Information Officer at Baptist Health System KY & IN since January 2003, collaborating with the chief information officer to implement comprehensive information technology initiatives across the health system while ensuring IT solutions align with the needs of staff and patients. In addition to clinical responsibilities, Brett holds roles such as Family Physician and Medical Director for Integrated EHR Development, acting as a liaison between physicians and the EHR implementation team across seven hospitals in Kentucky. Brett co-chairs the Epic Care Everywhere Governance Council and has contributed to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as a member of the ONC's Annual Report Work Group and the U.S. Core Data for Interoperability Taskforce, alongside participation in the Health Information Technology Advisory Committee (HITAC).
