Raj Kanda

Raj Kanda is a seasoned barrister and freelance tutor with extensive experience in the legal field. Currently serving as a barrister at Linenhall Chambers since May 2023 and as a door tenant at Quartz Barristers since September 2016, Raj has also held positions as a subject specialist external examiner and professional ethics assessor for The Bar Standards Board since August 2020. A former partner at BLM, where Raj led the fraud team from June 2008 to October 2016, Raj began as a paralegal at BLM in 2004 and completed a pupillage at Regency Barristers Chambers in 2006. Additionally, Raj's background includes providing lectures and training to solicitors while working at Kenworthy's Chambers in private law and criminal matters. Raj's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Hull and education at Kirkham Grammar School.
