Mahmoud Tarek

Mahmoud Tarek is an experienced mobile engineering professional with diverse expertise in software development and technical leadership. Currently serving as a Mobile Engineer at baraka (YC S21) since November 2023, Mahmoud has also held the position of Founding Tech Lead at podU since January 2019, and previously worked as Mobile Tech Lead at Rabbit from November 2021 to October 2023. Additional experience includes roles as Senior iOS Software Engineer and iOS Software Engineer at Vodafone from March 2017 to October 2021, and as Technical Lead and Co-founder at Digital Triangles from October 2015 to September 2018, where responsibilities included developing and managing websites and mobile applications. Earlier in the career, Mahmoud worked as an iOS Developer at 4art studio and a Back-End Developer at DotMasr. Mahmoud holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Misr University for Science and Technology, graduated in 2016.
