David Puron

David Puron has over 19 years of professional experience in the technology industry. In 2001, they began their career as a Project Manager and Research and Development Engineer at Telefónica I+D. In 2007, they took on the role of Requirements Working Group Chairman at the Open Mobile Alliance. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as a Project Manager at Huawei, and from 2012 to 2014, they were the EMEA / Latin-America Technical Sales at SEVEN Networks. In 2014, they joined Silent Circle as the SVP Engineering and was responsible for the end-to-end product delivery for the "Blackphone devices" product line. In 2018, they became the Country Manager and Operations Committee Member at Bayshore Networks. Most recently, in 2017, they co-founded Barbara IoT and served as the CEO and Managing Director.

David Puron attended Alameda de Osuna from 1982 to 1997. David then attended Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 1997 to 2004, studying Telecommunications. In 2013, they obtained a "Startup Engineering" certification from Coursera.
