Jo Hayes has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jo is currently working as the Director of Data Insights and Analytics at Barbarian since November 2021. Prior to that, they were a Co-Founder at Agency DEI starting from May 2021. Jo also held roles at R/GA, where they were the Director of Data & Marketing Sciences from October 2020 to November 2021, Associate Director from May 2019 to October 2020, Manager of Marketing Sciences from March 2016 to May 2019, and Senior Analyst from March 2015 to March 2016. Before R/GA, they worked at OMD Media Direction as a Senior Analyst from October 2014 to March 2015 and as an Analyst from July 2013 to October 2014. Jo also had experience at Morpheus Media, where they were a Display Strategist from May 2013 to July 2013 and an Associate Display Strategist from April 2012 to May 2013. Jo started their career at Hudson Dance & Movement as an Event Coordinator from March 2012 to May 2012 and later became the Managing Director from June 2010 to April 2012. Jo also worked as an Archaeologist at Kenyon College, Department of Anthropology from January 2008 to April 2010. Additionally, they gained internship experience at Lua Restaurant as an Event Management Intern and Hostess from May 2009 to August 2009, Goom Radio as a Programming Intern from May 2009 to August 2009, and North Star Consulting as an Executive Administrative and Personal Assistant from May 2007 to August 2007.
Jo Hayes completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology, History, and Sociology at Kenyon College from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, in February 2021, Jo obtained a certification in the Learn Python 2 Course from Codecademy.
