Lisa Kim

Lisa Kim has a diverse work experience in the field of design, with a focus on visual design and art direction. Lisa currently works at Barbarian as a Design Director, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Barbarian as a Senior Visual Design Lead from August 2021 to March 2023, and as a Senior Visual Designer from October 2020 to August 2021. Before joining Barbarian, Lisa worked at Razorfish as a Senior Visual Designer from June 2020 to August 2021.

Their previous experience includes roles at Publicis, where they worked as a Visual Designer and Art Director from May 2019 to June 2020, and as a Freelance Art Director from April 2016 to May 2019. Lisa also has freelance experience working with American Airlines, Jetblue, VISA, and Barclaycard from December 2015 to August 2017. Additionally, Lisa has freelanced at MRM//McCann as a Junior Art Director and Illustrator from February 2015 to December 2015, where they worked on projects for clients such as Cigna, Verizon, USPS, Army, and Oppenheimer.

Furthermore, Lisa has experience as a Freelance Design Lead at BOK Solutions, Inc., where they created and led the UI and UX design for a learning app in New York City. The app gained recognition and established a partnership with the NYC Department of Education.

Lisa Kim attended Parsons School of Design - The New School from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Graphic Design.
