Bob Davenport

Bob Davenport has a diverse work experience, beginning in 1984 as an English Instructor and Assistant Director of Forensics at Florida College. Bob then worked as an Assistant Professor of Speech and Director of Forensics at the University of Montevallo from 1988 to 1992. Following this, they became an Independent Communication Consultant & Adjunct Professor of Speech, running their own business from 1992 to 2006. In 2003, they became the President of RJD Enterprises, Inc. In 2008, they joined the Barbershop Harmony Society as the Dixie District VP, Marketing/PR.

Bob Davenport pursued their education beginning in 1978 when they enrolled at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). Bob completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree there, studying Speech Communication, Athletic Coaching, and Religious Studies. Afterward, they furthered their education at Western Kentucky University from 1980 to 1983. During this time, they obtained their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Speech Communication.
