David Carr

David Carr has over a decade of experience in lighting design and project management within the theatre industry. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Barbizon Lighting Company since January 2022, David's previous roles include Junior Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager. Prior to this, David worked at Lindenwood University as a Lighting Coordinator, Adjunct Professor, and Assistant Lighting Director from January 2018 to December 2021. David's experience also includes a position as Master Electrician at Children's Theatre of Charlotte from August 2011 to December 2017, where responsibilities involved supporting the design team's vision, coordinating lighting setups, and managing supplies. David holds a Master's degree in Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology from the University of Arizona and a degree in Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology from Northwest Missouri State University.
