Monica Madrigal

Monica Madrigal has significant experience in international business support and talent attraction initiatives. Currently serving as Head of Business Landing Services at Barcelona Activa since December 2008, Monica Madrigal oversees a comprehensive free support service for foreign investment projects in Barcelona. Prior roles include leading the talent attraction program "Do it in Barcelona" at the Metropolitan Strategic Plan of Barcelona from 2004 to 2008 and serving as Head of the Technical Cabinet at the University of Barcelona from 1998 to 2004, where Monica Madrigal also worked as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Political Economy and Public Finance. Monica Madrigal holds multiple degrees, including a Ph.D. in Public Economy from Universitat de Barcelona and an MSc in International Social Policy from Bath Spa University, along with various specialized training programs in business growth strategies.
