Anna Gassol Carbonell

Anna Gassol Carbonell currently serves as an Innovation and Entrepreneurship Technician at Col·legi Oficial de Metges de Barcelona, focusing on fostering seed investment in health startups, increasing clinician involvement in innovation, and providing consultancy services. Previously, Anna worked as an R&D and Innovation Projects Consultant at ACCIÓ, where responsibilities included evaluating and monitoring health sector projects. Anna has also gained experience through internships at Karolinska Institutet, Vall d'Hebron Barcelona Hospital Campus, and Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, specializing in areas such as genome engineering, constitutional cytogenetics, and oncohematological cytogenetics. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Cytogenetics and Reproductive Biology from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and participation in a Business Angels' School program at Esade.
