Francesco Benincasa

Francesco Benincasa is a Senior Research Engineer at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center since December 2010, leading the Data and Diagnostics Team within the Earth Sciences Department and engaging in projects focused on air quality and climate. Previously, Francesco held positions as a Research Support Engineer, Owner and Software Engineer at EcoScienze Societa' Cooperativa, Software Developer at SCS SuperComputingSolutions, and an External Consultant at Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli, where Francesco designed and developed various software applications and systems. Francesco began the professional journey as a Software Developer at YACME srl, specializing in network, web, and database applications. Francesco holds a Master of Science in Computer Software Engineering from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
