Stan Szwalbenest

Stan Szwalbenest currently serves as the Managing Director - Global (Group) Head of Fraud Strategy & Analytics at Barclays since May 2022, leading firm-wide fraud strategy and analytics across all entities including Barclays Corporate Bank. Prior experience at JPMorgan Chase & Co. spanned nearly two decades, where Stan held various leadership roles in fraud risk management, including oversight of credit card fraud strategies, point-of-sale fraud, and digital payment risk. Stan's career began in the 1990s in audit and risk management positions at Bank of America and FleetBoston Financial, accumulating extensive experience in compliance, internal control, and operational risk across multiple industries. Stan is also recognized as the inventor of a patent related to multifactor authentication and holds membership in several advisory boards and committees focused on fraud strategy and technology. Academic credentials include a BBA in Economics, Finance, Accounting, and Political Science from the Fox School of Business at Temple University.
