David Burns

David Burns has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and industries. David started their career in the military as a Seaman Officer in the Royal Australian Navy, where they served for four years.

After leaving the Navy, David transitioned into the business sector and worked as a Business Development Manager at Stockdale & Leggo, a national real estate franchised network. In this role, they were responsible for developing new franchise opportunities, managing the existing franchise network, and coordinating legal requirements for the business.

Following their time at Stockdale & Leggo, David joined True Value Solar as a Commercial Sales Executive. Here, they specialized in selling and managing the rollout of solar power plants for residential and commercial customers.

David then moved to Shine On Solar, where they worked as a Senior Sales Consultant. In this role, they helped commercial clients in large-scale solar power plants and LED lighting technologies.

After Shine On Solar, David worked as a Business Consultant at Teltech Services. Here, they provided consulting services to clients in various industries.

In 2016, David joined Salesforce as an Account Executive. In this role, they were responsible for managing client accounts and driving sales.

Currently, David is working as a Sales Director at Barhead Solutions. In this role, they are involved in consulting and implementation services for cloud business solutions, primarily focused on Microsoft Cloud Stack.

Throughout their career, David has gained expertise in sales, business development, consulting, and project management. David'sdiverse background and experience make him a valuable asset in the business and technology industry.

David Burns completed their VCE at Melbourne Grammar School from 1994 to 1997. After that, they pursued a degree in Information Systems & International Business at Swinburne University of Technology from 1998 to 2000. In 2002, they attended the University of Melbourne to obtain a Graduate Certificate in Landscape Architecture.
